TJX Canada

TJX Canada is part of The TJX Companies and includes well-known retail brands such as Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls. With stores and distribution operations across Canada, recruitment marketing plays a key role in attracting talent for retail, warehouse, and corporate positions while maintaining a strong and recognizable employer brand across multiple regions.

THE PROBLEM

The recruitment campaign needed to stand out in a highly competitive hiring market while appealing to a wide range of candidates across multiple provinces, locations, and job types. Existing materials lacked consistency and did not create a strong, unified employer brand across print and event marketing. In addition, many campaign pieces were required to include both English and French within the same design to meet Canadian market needs, creating added challenges in layout, messaging clarity, and maintaining visual balance across all materials.

THE SOLUTION

The solution was a recruitment campaign called “This Is Us,” designed to tell the stories of employees across Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls through a mix of real experiences and creative fictional profiles. Each piece highlighted career growth, workplace culture, and personal stories, often ending with a fun or unexpected quirk to make the message more memorable. The campaign included ads, flyers, posters, banners, brochures, postcards, trade show graphics, and bilingual English/French materials, creating a strong and engaging employer brand across Canada.
